Add taste to the Mix
Maurten Addition is a palate reset. It is designed to give athletes the option of adding a different taste to Drink Mix 320 or 160. Repeated consumption of carbohydrate fuels — even those with a neutral flavor profile — can lead to a state of flavor fatigue. Symptoms can include a lack of motivation to maintain a planned fueling protocol, sickly or nauseous sensation, and a desensitized sense of taste. For athletes impacted by flavor fatigue, the result can be reduced fueling and an energy deficit. Maurten Addition enables athletes to vary their fuel according to preferred taste without impacting the function of Hydrogel Technology.
Taste is personal
Any fuel strategy should be unique to the athlete using it. Taste is no different. How and when athletes use taste is highly individualized. Additions enable athletes to vary the taste of Drink Mix on their terms — applying a palate reset where necessary and as required. This is calculated fueling.
Flavor fatigue explained
Over-exposure and repeated consumption of the same taste or texture can reduce the appetite to maintain a consistent fueling strategy. In short, fuel becomes less appealing. It breaks an athlete’s commitment to the plan they are trying to follow and ultimately may lead to an energy deficit. Additions help athletes to prioritize fueling by mitigating against the negative effects of flavor fatigue.

Returns & Right of Withdrawal

Return Conditions
Returned items must be:

- In original packaging

Items Not Eligible for Return
For hygiene and safety reasons, the following cannot be returned:
- Opened packages
- Damaged or soiled items
- Products not in original packaging
- Used or partially consumed nutrition products
- Items returned incomplete
Refunds
Once the returned goods are received and inspected, refunds are issued within 14 days to the original payment method.
Return shipping costs are not refunded unless the item is faulty or sent in error.
Damaged, Wrong, or Missing Items
If your order arrives damaged, incorrect, or incomplete, contact info@endurancelab.ie within 48 hours.
If we are at fault, we cover return shipping and provide a replacement at no additional cost.
